Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven't paid much mind to my DA profile. I know some people have been wanting to see my progression as I go through my art classes online and learn more about animation. I'm barely getting into the animation aspect of things but all is going well. I'll even have some sketches to put up soon enough! I hadn't drawn anything in well over two months, but yesterday, I had to do an assignment that required my drawing facial expressions and mouth movements. After awhile, I had the feeling to just randomly scribble. That scribble turned into a torso, some arms, and a head. I messed around with different eye styles, then found one I felt comfortable with. Didn't get it from any other source, just from me testing different shapes out.

The point is, I think i'm over my artist block and will be working on remaking some of my past artwork in order to see just how good I've gotten! More to come soon!

Yeah! I've made it this far, and I've got great grades in my class. I've got 2 B's and 1 A so far, and I need to try and keep it that way. This week you may even see some of the sketches I've done so far  this term. You'll definitely be seeing my character model sheet for an assassin character of mine named Reaver.

I'll also be covering his back story in the description.

I still have NO tie breaker for the poll! UNBELIEVABLE! So I guess I'll have to do do all 3 separate, and then put them all together in an action sketch.

Ah yes, after this week, there will only be 3 more, and then another weeks vacation, to which my job owes me a weeks paid vacation also, so I think I'll be taking it that week.

However this week is not so simple...especially in my Life Drawing class. I have to make a character. Sounds simple, right? It should be, but it isn't. I lost most of my creativity a long time ago, and I'm trying to get it back. Although, i do have ideas for a web comic I'd like to do someday, it's still not as simple as I'd like it to be. I guess I should commit to starting it though, in which case I need more than 2 characters I have in mind.

See? Thoughts are scrambling around in my head, this journal post won't make much sense. But it's all gotta be done before Sunday, so I think I'll repost another journal entry sometime this week. For now, I'm going to work on the main character.

So I'm into Week 4 of my school, meaning midterms next week! Oh joy. I'm halfway done with this term! Then another term a week after this one is over! I'm learning so much in such a short amount of time, and I'm even buying books..with my own money...to advance! o.O I've never put this much dedication into anything, except maybe a relationship, but buying a book for relationships is a bit silly, so X that!
